Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A subject of a reserved identity was detained along 30th Street in central Playa del Carmen after he was found carrying a weapon.
Elements of Public Security saw the man in front a money exchange on Avenida Juárez. Upon noticing the presence of the police, he began to display an evasive attitude, then approached a truck and took what appeared to be a firearm from his bag, placing it inside the vehicle.
For this reason, police proceeded to carry out a security inspection which is when they found a gun and bullets between the two front seats of the vehicle.
