Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Eleven people were jailed Thursday after a citizen report of street drug sales. Police officers in Playa del Carmen responded to the report of a group on 14th Avenue and 4th Street North selling drugs.
They arrived to find a group of 11 people and more than 200 bags of narcotics ready for sale. One of the now-detained, Jose N, was found in possession of a blue suitcase that contained bulk bags of marijuana as well as hash, pills and a scale.
