Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An investigation into a possible drug house in Playa del Carmen has lead to the arrests of eight. The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), in its sub-headquarters in the Municipality of Solidaridad, carried out a search warrant on a premises in Colonia Luis Donaldo Colosio.
Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) and personnel from the institution’s Expert Services made the arrest from the 70th Street North house after locating marijuana and cocaine.
The house has since been seized by authorities who also placed guards outside while their investigation continues. Information regarding those arrested has not been provided.
