Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A motorist who attempted to outrun police ended up crashing into a car of FGE agents. The incident happened Tuesday night when the driver was flagged to stop at the city’s south police filter.
Instead of stopping as requested, the driver fled and got as far as the Centro Maya area before hitting another car, which in turn, caused them to crash into a third vehicle.
After his failure to comply with the requested stop at the south filter, several Municipal Police units followed the car into the city where it was involved in the accident that ended the chase. The car they collided with was carrying two agents from the State Attorney General’s Office.
