Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a car that flipped and landed on its roof Monday, was able to walk away. Police were called to the scene when passing motorists reported the overturned vehicle on the federal highway just south of Playa del Carmen.
The Monday morning accident was reported by witnesses who said the car suddenly made contact with the centre media when it overturned. Morning highway traffic was backed up while police sorted out the situation.
A tow truck was called to remove the silver Duster from the center of the highway. It was taken to the city coral.
