Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — One woman was rushed to Cancun hospital Thursday after a single vehicle rollover. The federal highway accident happened inside the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
According to early information, five people were inside the car at the time of the accident. Four were treated on site for minor injuries, however, one woman, the driver, was rushed to Cancun hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
The driver of the car, the injured woman, had left a plaza parking lot and entered the highway when a few kilometers later she lost control and overturned.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene of the accident where they located the overturned car and five injured. An official cause for the accident is not known.
