Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A motorcyclist lost his life after being struck by a pick-up truck on 125 Avenue in Playa del Carmen. The accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. Saturday when motorists made the report to Emergency 911.
Police and paramedics arrived, however, medical personnel were unable to do anything for the driver of the motorcycle. He was pronounced on scene.
The driver of the pickup was detained by police. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
