Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The male driver of a compact car that slammed into a Playa del Carmen guardrail was found dead. The medical team who responded to the accident report arrived to find the man dead behind the wheel.
The accident was recorded around 1:00 a.m. Tuesday at the base of an overpass at the south end of the city. The driver slammed into a guardrail that divides the road into an ongoing straight lane and the overpass.
Police did not reveal any information at the time on how the accident occurred. The name of the deceased driver was not provided.
