Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Playa del Carmen taxi was left on its roof Sunday after being broadsided by another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle responsible for overturning the compact cab kept going.
Police found the cab laying on its roof near the intersection of 100th and 13th in the Forjadores neighborhood. The cab driver was not seriously injured in the early morning mishap.
Neighbors who heard the commotion snapped shots of the plates of the fleeing vehicle alleged responsible. Police are searching for the driver. The taxi was towed to a mechanic shop where it will undergo the necessary repairs.
