Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An SUV found overturned outside Playa del Carmen Saturday was a complete write off. The silver SUV was found on its roof in highway vegetation south of the city after coming to a stop against a utility pole.
A man changing his tire on the side of the highway had his truck clipped by the SUV, which caused it to roll. The driver of the SUV reportedly dozed at the wheel and swerved into the stopped pickup truck where the driver was changing a tire around 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
Neither of the driver of the pickup truck nor the driver of the rolled SUV were seriously injured in the two vehicle highway mishap. Two tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles.
