Chicxulub, Yucatan — A sea turtle has been found dead stuck inside a rubber tire along a beach in Chicxulub, in the state of Yucatan.
Photos of the deceased sea turtle were taken Sunday by volunteers of Áak Kuch Kin, who found it stuck inside a tire from sea pollution.
“This poor turtle was found yesterday near Chicxulub. This is so stupid and unnecessary for this creature to have suffered and be killed in this way, ”the organization said in a post asking people to “Please dispose of trash properly! The garbage does not belong to the ocean!”
