Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A central city club was destroyed by fire early Tuesday morning in Playa del Carmen. Authorities were on scene at 6:00 a.m. after being notified by public reports of the fire.
City firemen rushed to 30th and First South in central Playa del Carmen where they found the bar completely engulfed in flames. It took firemen nearly two hours to extinguish the fire and move in for a possible inspection.
The newly renamed bar was completely destroyed. Civil Protection personnel arrived to begin an investigation into what caused the fire. Agents from the State Attorney General’s Office also arrived at the club to begin an investigation.
