Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two of three vehicles involved in an intersection collision were heavily damaged Friday. Two cargo trucks and one taxi ran into one another while passing through a Gonzalo Guerrero intersection.
According to available information, the driver of the taxi and first cargo truck were heading east when they collided with a second cargo truck traveling north. Municipal police were at the 38th Street scene to sort out the chaos.
Passing vehicles were slowed but not blocked by the three vehicle collision. The driver of the taxi was the only person injured. He received medical attention from paramedics on site while transit arranged for the vehicles to be towed.
