Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle Playa del Carmen crash. On Tuesday afternoon, police were called to the scene of a highway rear-end.
The accident was reported along a section of Playa del Carmen Boulevard, the city’s main through vein. It was around 1:00 p.m. when the driver of a truck rear-ended a slowing car. The back of the car was severely damaged.
The driver of the white car had slowed to pull over when the driver behind failed to reduce his speed. An ambulance responded to the report of the car accident, however, none of the three involved required a hospital transfer.
Municipal Transit Directorate were charged with sorting out accident details before both vehicles were towed.
