Holbox, Q.R. — A water line between Chiquilá and Holbox required repair after a leak was detected by CAPA. Authorities from the Potable Water and Sewerage Commission (CAPA) sent divers to find the leak and make the necessary repairs.
Silverio Mariano Canul, CAPA manager in the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas, pointed out that due to good weather conditions, the repairs progressed quickly. Although they temporarily suspended pumping, it did not generate water shortages in Holbox.
The leak was detected under a concrete block along the line of the marine substation and was repaired without requiring notice to residents since service continued to operate normally.
