Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — An apartment owner who came to collect rent found his tenant dead. The deceased tenant, identified only as a Canadian man, was found inside his second level apartment in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, a town south of Tulum.
The landlord of the Juan Bautista Vega neighborhood complex told police that he came to collect the rent after not having heard from his tenant for several days.
Municipal Police agents were called in to verify the report of the deceased man. Forensics also arrived to remove the body. Details on how the man died were not provided. The age of the man was also not given.
