Holbox, Q.R. — A CFE power plant workshop in Holbox was completely destroyed Monday after catching fire. Elements of the Fire Department were able to put out the fire, but not before the small structure was completely burned.
Aside from the workshop and its contents, two poles belonging to the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) were also damaged by the fire.
Fire Department boss Jesús Alejandro Erosa, confirmed that there were no people injured since apparently the building was empty at the time of the fire. Authorities are still investigating a cause.
