Cancun, Q.R. — As of April 1, low cost Brazilian airline GOL (Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes) will add an additional flight to its Cancun route. The airline says the additional operation will be carried out on an 186-seat Boeing 737.
The airline intends to increase its weekly Cancun flights to four, up from the current three flights per week, which will also increase its potential passenger load into Cancun to 744 a week.
Currently, Cancún is the only international destination for GOL Linhas Aéreas in the Brazilian capital. Other destinations of Buenos Aires, Miami and Orlando remain with suspended operations.
