Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The body of a woman was found in an advanced state of decomposition inside a home in the Allegranza subdivision of Playa del Carmen.
Preliminary information indicates that a local resident made the discovery Saturday and called authorities. The body of the woman was apparently found suspended inside the home pointing to suicide.
The identity of the woman was not revealed, nor was her age or nationality. The body was eventually removed from the home by the medical examiner for an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
