Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A police operation in the Real Ibiza residential area of Playa del Carmen lead to the finding of loaded weapons. The weapons were located after a February 23 report of people injured by firearms.
Police responding to the report searched the area by foot, locating two long weapons in a green area. The guns were seen protruding out of an abandoned backpack. Inside the backpack, police also found more than 130 rounds of ammunition.
