Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Four armed men reportedly robbed a Playa del Carmen gas station over the weekend. The robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Punta Maroma gas station north of the city.
Staff from inside the station reported the robbery to 911, telling responding police that four men armed with guns entered the store and left with cash, bottles of liquor and cell phones, among other items.
The robbery was captured on the store’s video surveillance. Arrests were not announced.
