Playa del Carmen, Q. R. — Two men made off with a couple thousand peso after the armed robbery of a gas station. The robbery was reported early Thursday morning at a station in the Galaxias II subdivision.
Gas station attendants reported the arrival of two armed men at around 3:00 a.m. The men demanded the attendant’s work cash and personal belongings. The men are said to have surprised the gas station attendants by emerging from nearby bush.
It has been reported that the armed duo made off with around 2,000 peso ($100 USD) in cash.
