Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Another state taxi driver has been arrested for narcotics, this time in Playa del Carmen. On Saturday, 21 year old Jonathan Levi “N” was taken into police custody after being found with drugs and portable radios.
The Chiapas native is an active Playa del Carmen taxi driver. Police found his illegal stash during an inspection in the Palmas I subdivision Saturday. He was arrested by elements of the Municipal Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) of Solidaridad after police located 115 bags of narcotics and two radio communication devices inside his backpack.
The PDC taxi driver was also found with a payment terminal. Police seized his taxi after his arrest. He was taken into custody on charges of drug dealing.
