Jojutla, Morelos — Elements of the National Guard seized more than 190 packages of cocaine and arrested five people during an operation at the Albatros Aerodrome in Jojutla, Morelos.
Members of the National Guard received the report of a plane loaded with cocaine through an anonymous tip. With the support of the Mexican Army, elements of the National Guard acted on the tip, which lead to the finding of the drugs.
Through a statement, the security corporation indicated that a package of bills with approximately 650 thousand peso, a small plane, a sedan vehicle and a van were seized along with the packages of cocaine.
They also arrested five individuals, all of whom were from the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Chiapas.
