American returned to Texas from Mexico to face cocaine trafficking charges

Mexico City, Mexico — An American man has been returned to the U.S. by Mexican officials to face charges of criminal association. On Wednesday, Richard “G” was transferred to Mexico City International where he was escorted back to the U.S. by waiting federal agents.

American authorities escorted the man during his flight to Texas where he was wanted for drug and criminal association charges. Richard “G” will face charges in a Western District of Texas court for trafficking cocaine.

“Richard “G” was part of an organization dedicated to cocaine trafficking in the United States and was in charge of transporting the drug. This person was arrested in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, and after the efforts of the FGR, his extradition was granted,” the FGR of Mexico said in a statement.
