American man extradited from Mexico to face charges in Los Angeles court

Mexico City, Mexico — An American man has been returned to the U.S. where he will face criminal charges. He was extradited to American soil Friday after being handed over to U.S. federal agents.

American Jesús “F” was wanted by the Federal District Court of California for organized crime and drug-related changes. According to a statement by the State Attorney of the Republic (FGR) of Mexico, Jesús “F” is accused of trafficking narcotics from Mexico to the U.S. based out of Los Angeles.

Jesús “F” is accused of belonging to the L.A.-based criminal organization between 2009 and 2012, from where he was responsible for the trafficking of large quantities of drugs from Mexico to the United States.

He was transferred from his Mexican prison and handed over to waiting U.S. federal agents at the Mexico City International Airport from where he was returned to the U.S.
