Delicias, Chihuahua — A man wanted for drug and firearm charges in the United States has been arrested and deported from Mexico.
The American man identified by la Fiscalía General de la República as Nelson R., was detained by Federal Ministerial Police in the city of Delicias, Chihuahua. Nelson R. was wanted by Interpol for drug and firearm crimes in the United States.
In a public statement, the Attorney General of the Republic reported that the arrest was made in compliance with an extradition request by the Government of the United States of America by a district judge.
