Cancun, Q.R. — With the reopening of the Canadian border to international tourism, Air Canada updated its flight itineraries which again includes connections to Mexico City and Cancun.
In September, the Canadian airline will fly from Quebec’s Jean Lesage International Airport to Cancun with two weekly frequencies. Mark Galardo, Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Revenue Management at Air Canada said that from there, travelers will also be able to fly to Punta Cana, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
“We are excited to launch two new routes to Florida from Quebec City, a first for Air Canada,” he announced. “Punta Cana and Cancun are among the most popular tropical destinations and we are happy to be able to bring these connections back,” he added.
Air Canada will also connect Mexico City with Toronto and Vancouver.
“With Mexican citizens eager to travel back to Canada, we are ready to reunite clients with their families and friends. Our flights from Mexico City to Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal connect conveniently with our routes through Canada and the United States,” reported Luis Noriega, Air Canada Sales Director for Latin America and the Caribbean.
