Tulum, Q.R. — The Tulum International Airport will have additional connections starting early May. On Thursday, Aeromexico said they will begin offering two direct flights per day from the Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) outside Mexico City, to Tulum.
The two daily non-stop flights are set to begin May 2, 2024. The announcement was made by Governor Mara Lezama Thursday after a Wednesday meeting with airline officials in Acapulco.
Quintana Roo Governor Mara Lezama is promoting the state in the Tianguis Turístico de México 2024 being held in Acapulco, Guerrero.
The Aeromexico airline announcement is one of the recent new connections to begin operations to and from the Tulum International Airport.
In a brief note Lezama said “Attention travel lovers! Starting May 2, 2024, Aeromexico will operate two daily flights from AIFA to Tulum. This new air connection strengthens accessibility to the heart of Caribe Mexicano in its New Era of Tourism.”
