Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A search of two Playa del Carmen homes has resulted in the seizure of weapons, vehicles, ammo and narcotics. On Friday, the State Attorney General’s Office said they seized the items from two addresses.
Both properties were searched with warrants. One in the Ejidal neighborhood and the other located in the Las Palmas II subdivision. Between the two, authorities walked away with approximately 40 kilos of drugs, three long weapons and one short, a compact car, a motorcycle, cartridges, chargers and cell phones.
Arrests from either of the two properties were not announced.
