Riviera Maya News continues to resist pressure from advertising companies to add popups and interstitial ads to ensure our readers have an excellent experience while on our site by not implementing ads that interfere with an article while you are reading or cover the entire screen (interactive ads) when you switch pages or leave the site.
While we have remained independent since we began in 2014, advertising is our only form of income.
